From Melbourne Tullamarine Airport:

St Kilda SkyBus
We recommend this option: Follow the signs to the St Kilda SkyBus terminal. You will buy a ticket from the bus driver for $19. The bus leaves every 30 minutes. You will exit the bus at the first stop, which will be directly opposite the hostel. Cross the road and we are located at 109 Barkly Street, St Kilda (corner of Barkly Street and Grey Street).

The St Kilda SkyBus operates until 18:00 pm.

Melbourne CBD SkyBus
This SkyBus, located out the front of Tullamarine Airport will bring you to Southern Cross train station for $19 per person. This service departs Tullamarine every 20 minutes – from Southern Cross station, make your way to the 96 tram which will bring you to St Kilda at the intersection of Fitzroy Street and Grey Street.
Follow Grey Street, we are at the next major intersection (5-10 minutes walk) on your right hand side.
Please note you will need to purchase a MYKI card to use all public transport. Like a credit card you need to tap on and off each time you use a tram, bus or train. They can be purchased from convenience stores.

Summer House Backpackers is ideally located just a few minutes from St Kilda Beach. We are surrounded by numerous popular cafes, bars and restaurants.

We are located a few minutes from the popular Ackland Street, home to Luna Park and famous for its many cake shops and restaurants. We are also just moments from Fitzroy Street, a bubbling road full of popular bars, cafes and restaurants. The supermarket is a short walk away and public transport is literally at our doorstep.
